The Medlin Art Academy at River Ridge Arts is dedicated to encouraging the expression of art. Our instructors have all been chosen for their talents, their level of expertise and their training and skills as fine art educators. Each student receives quality, individual attention as well as group discussion and leadership from a sharing, caring instructor.

Sketch Group and Figure Group

Monday morning, 9-12 noon,  September through December ... Clothed model
Figure Group
Monday afternoon, 1-4pm,  September through December ... Nude or Draped Figure

The Medlin Art Academy welcomes interested artists to partake in a Sketch Group and/or Figure Group.
Enjoy the northern light of the best figure room in the Midwest. The room was designed and built by an artist specifically for artists to draw, paint and sculpt the human form. The natural light is controllable with an array of windows and a perfectly positioned skylight over the model stand.
